Short circuit while charging pls help

Today I was connecting my phone to charger ( before plugged in power) and once I plugged the charger into the wall socket the socket had a strong spark and a blackout happened in the room ( I think it was short circuit) but I checked phone and charger ( original fast charger) and there was no smoking or black marks only on the wall socket and the phone then did charge well
So my question is : Is there is any chance this short circuit may harm or affect any component inside my phone and if so what effects this may have in the future on the phone
