How to install Android 6 on Korean Note 2 devices:
I strongly recommend it to everyone. Way better than stock. Saved me from buying new device. It's really fast and up to date with 2016. Here's how to install:
You need PC and USB cable.
1. Flash TWRP using odin.
You need TWRP v3 or newer. Two options:
*Flash latest TWRP that exists in .tar format in odin. Then download latest TWRP version .img to your phone. Then go to TWRP (turn the phone off, then press volup + home) and install TWRP v3 .img.
*Find some .img to .tar coverter on internet and directly flash TWRP v3 or newer using odin.
2. Download Cyanogenmod 13 for N7105 to your PC. (or search xda for other Android 6.0 based ROMs for N7105)
3. Download Notepad++ and 7zip to your PC.
4. Open Cyanogenmod zip with 7zip. Go to META-INF\com\google\android\ and drag updater-script to desktop.
5. Right click on file and edit with Notepad++. Replace t0lte line 't0lte' with 't0lteskt' (e250s) ,'t0ltektt' (e250k) or 't0ltelgt' (e250l) or else you will get error in TWRP.
6. Drag updater-script back to zip and transfer it to your phone.
5. Download Widzard kernel v2.7 AOSP to your device. Big thanks to Strawberry_dev, he actually made this possible.
6. Download A-Gapps to your device.
7. Go to TWRP (turn the phone off, then press volup + home). Wipe everything except internalSD. Then flash CM and then widzard kernel and then google apps.
Note: If you have SHV-E250K you need to flash RIL patch after flashing everything above. You can find them on widzard kernel site.
There is also some wifi fix in widzard's site. Try that if you need it as well.
Bugs and drawbacks:
- Video camera has serious lags. Normal camera works perfect.
- If you are in Korea you lose TV function (lol).
- All the S-Pen apps are gone.
